 Dead Sea Mud has been used for centuries due to its cosmetic and health benefits, dead sea mud is also known as black mud. This mud is highly concentrated in trace and essential minerals known to help with circulation improvement, easing rheumatic pains, and with skin problems such as eczema and psoriasis. Avocado oil, rich in sterolins, which are reputed to reduce age spots, and said to help with regenerating the skin and softening the tissue;
along with botanical licorice extract, known as a skin conditioner and mild local anti-inflammatory to soothe skin enhance the effects of the dead sea mud. Your skin will feel amazing after a 20 minute mask. Directions for use: After cleansing, remove about a quarter size dallop of mud and begin in the neck area gently stroking upwards towards the jaw line, from jaw line continuing to move in upward/outward strokes to the hairline, apply the mud to both sides of your face, avoiding the eye area. Apply your mud mask to the forehead area starting at the center of your forehead with upward/outward strokes towards the hairline on one side of forehead and repeat this process on the other side of your forehead. Now, take a nice relaxing bath, or just putter around while your mask dries. You will begin to feel a warming sensation as the mask increases your blood circulation and pulls impurities from your pores. This is normal, but if it becomes too intense, please remove the mask immediately. After you mask dries, about 20 minutes, remove the mask with a clean warm facial cloth using upward/outward strokes. Rinse the cloth as needed and continue removing the mask until all is removed. Now, your skin will be rejuvinated, clean, and soft as velvet! Don't be alarmed if there is slight redness to your skin, this is normal due to the circulation increase. You may follow your mask with a toner to help remove any mask residue and a skin norishing moisturiser. Begin using your mask every other day for at least 1 week, add another week if your skin is in need of some TLC, then for maintenance of your beautiful skin, mask once a week thereafter. $8.50 |  Rose clay mask is especially formulated for normal-dry or sensitive skin. French green clay mask is formulated for normal-oily skin. Both dry masks also contain powdered yogurt and oat flour. Powdered yogurt can be nourishing and soothing to the skin. Oat flour has been historically used for dermatological benefits. Oats also contain excellant emolliant properties. Masks are packaged in a recloseable pouch to help keep your mask fresh. A scoop is included, for easy measuring, and cosmetic spatula is also included for mixing and applying your mask. Each package will give you 8-10 applications.
To use your mask:
Start with a clean face and neck. Place 1 level scoop of dry clay mixture into small bowl. Sprinkle approx. 1/8 teaspoon liquid of choice and mix, using spatula provided. You may use warm water, floral hydrosols, or even warm milk as your liquid. The consistency of your mask should be that similar to cake icing. Add a little more liquid, if necessary, until desired consistency is reached.
Using spatula, scoop a small amount of mask out of bowl and place on fingertips. Apply mask to your face and neck by gently patting over skin - avoid the eye area. Continue doing this until your face and neck are completely covered. Leave mask on for approx. 20 minutes, or until dry.
To remove:
Place a clean, very warm wash cloth over face and mask will begin to soften. Using upward strokes remove your mask. When mask is completely removed, apply toner and finish with facial lotion.
Recommended Usage: 1-3 times a week. Mask will help to pull impurities from your pores and leave your skin feeling soft, refereshed and nourished. Applying toner after the mask will help to remove any mask residue and also help close your pores. Your facial lotion will help nourish your skin and protect it from the elements.
